A big reason stock clutches cannot hold high power is due to their limiting single plate 15 pad design. Additional spring pressure can only be added to a certain extent before it causes wear on other components. By incorporating a modern 3-plate clutch design, you can effectively triple your clutch holding force. The sintered bronze friction material is long-lasting and easy to clean.
It is about 3/4-1" taller than a stock clutch assembly. The use of the stock clutch shaft and internal spring is retained.
Clutch Holding Capacity:
- ~14ft-lbs: Using stock china spring with max preload
- ~19ft-lbs: Using SP Max Clutch spring with max preload
