Engine Warranty Policy
All of our engines are high-performance two-stroke racing engines, designed for maximum performance under demanding conditions. Due to the nature and the extreme stresses placed on these components, parts can and do wear or fail more frequently than in standard applications.
We offer a 30-day limited warranty from the date of delivery, which covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Beyond this period, we are committed to supporting our customers and will do our best to assist with repairs or replacement parts at our discretion. However, we cannot guarantee full coverage for damage or wear caused by racing conditions, misuse, improper installation, or lack of maintenance.
Our goal is always to be fair and reasonable. If something goes wrong, please reach out — we’ll evaluate each situation individually and do what we can to help.
Coverage Period:
All engine builds are covered by a 30-day limited warranty from the date of delivery.
What’s Covered:
- Workmanship defects related to manufacturer engine assembly
- Internal engine components provided by Smolik Performance
- Failure due to errors in the engine build process
- Shipping charges back to customer
What’s Not Covered:
- Failures after the 30-day warranty window
- Damage due to improper use, over-revving, lean conditions, or lack of maintenance
- Parts not supplied by Smolik Performance
- Normal wear and tear or racing-related damage
- Shipping charges to Smolik Performance
Inspection & Repairs Outside Warranty:
If an issue arises outside the 30-day window, customer is responsible for:
- Shipping charges to and from Smolik Performance
- Cost of replacement parts and labor
Customer Responsibility:
- Proper break-in procedures
- Using correct fuel/oil mixtures
- Regular maintenance
